Animal Farm

I found animal farm to be an interesting read, it was not much like the other novels that i've been asked to read this year during school. It had more of a unrealistic story line to it (talking animals and such) which i found less interesting personally. I thought the movie portrayed the novel well but it left out all of the detail that i experienced through reading the book.

I found the same thing after seeing the movie, I felt I got more out of the book. The problem with the movie was that after seeing it I had that image of what was going on at animal farm stuck in my head as opposed to the one I fabricated myself in my mind. The images that I made up in my mind about animal farm also seemed more real to me because I made it up as I read further into the book so I had an accurate account of what was going on. Also in my mind I pictured what was going on in terms of real life, like I pictured real life animals and a barn and what not as opposed to cartoons.
